The Burrow offers a delightful array of freshly prepared dishes and beverages, expertly crafted using quality local produce. Imagine the tantalizing aroma of a freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air as you step inside this quaint space, adorned with mismatched crockery and unique decorative touches that give it an irresistible charm. Whether you are in the mood for a hearty breakfast to fuel your day or a light lunch to refresh your afternoon, The Burrow has something to satisfy every craving.

Your journey here would not be complete without sampling the cafe's popular offerings. Or perhaps you’ll be tempted by one of their sinfully delicious cakes, each slice a sweet treat waiting to be enjoyed. Whatever your choice, you’re guaranteed a comforting meal that feels like a warm hug.

The atmosphere at The Burrow is relaxed and inviting, as reflected in the glowing reviews from satisfied patrons. Robert Jones praises the “lovely food at good price,” while Jonathan Nock highlights the “friendly staff, always cheerful and happy to chat.” These personal touches transform your visit into an experience rather than just a meal. Worth it tells a heartwarming story about their cherished Christmas tradition at The Burrow, perfectly capturing the essence of this cafe as a welcoming community hub.

While you may come for the food, you may find yourself staying for the ambiance. The cafe's cozy interiors provide a peaceful refuge, with soft music playing in the background and gentle chatter creating a welcoming atmosphere. Customers have described it as a “cute little place for meets and to unwind,” making it ideal for friends catching up over coffee or families taking a break after exploring the lovely Garden Centre.

The Burrow truly shines with its commitment to quality and customer service. Despite being a small team, the dedication of the staff is evident, as noted by Roamin Gnome who appreciated the “delicious” food and the effort made to accommodate their last-minute visit. Each meal is made to order, ensuring that you enjoy a fresh, satisfying plate every time. Although Richard Mill advises bringing cash (it’s cash only), this minor detail is easily overlooked once you’re treated to their delectable offerings.

In conclusion, The Burrow is not just a cafe; it’s a cherished destination that fosters connection and joy through its delicious food and warm service. Make sure to stop by and enjoy a bit of what's become a local tradition. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee and cake or enjoying a leisurely lunch, this delightful cafe will surely leave a lasting impression on your heart and taste buds.

Me and my husband have made a Christmas tradition of coming here for breakfast every year when we buy our tree! It’s been about 5 years and we still love the food and the atmosphere they always have mismatch crockery and different salt shaker sets on each table and it’s too cute! The service has always been fantastic and you can tell that they use quality, local produce and really fresh bread. If it ever closes down we will be heart broken!

Went in for coffee and cake while en route to the goat sanctuary nearby. Lovely cakes, soya milk no problem, flavoured water drinks for the kids and inexpensive , can’t ask for more .

We were lucky to get a table as we didn't realise we needed to book for mother's day. Service is a bit slow as there are only 2 lovely ladies running everything so we forgot to take a photo of breakfast before we tucked in. Very reasonably priced though and delicious. Thank you for squeezing us in.
